The Club takes safeguarding extremely seriously and is proud to have fully adopted British Ice Skating's guidelines and documents.

 

All personal data is held securely via restricted password logins distributed to specific Committee members with role-based access.

 

Our Parent Handbook covers all key areas of safeguarding including Code of Conduct for skaters, members, parents and volunteers. In addition to Patch Rules, it is the key document for every member and parent to understand and to abide.

 

Our Photography Policy is simple: The Club takes photographs only at specific events (for example, shows or galas) which we will advise of in advance and offer a chance to withdraw from the event. The Club does not permit the taking of photographs/videos during club times. We ask you to refrain from sharing images on social media of others unless you have express consent to do so.

 

Any images taken by the Club will be held securely in a password protected digital environment and if used for promotion, we will only align personal information with express permission and will always limit the details shared to protect the child.
