NISA is delighted to announce the appointment of Rob Jones as Chair of the NISA Board.
Until recently, Rob had been the CEO of the UK Motor Sports Governing Body, the MSA, and he is a qualified lawyer with an extensive background in sports regulation and governance, both nationally and internationally.
The appointment takes immediate effect and is for a term of four years.
NISA has begun a period of vital transition and Rob joins to head up the NISA Board at a challenging time of transition. He is very much looking forward to the challenge ahead: “NISA has started along the critical route to ensuring that the sport is in the best possible position to take advantage of every opportunity by approving new Articles of Association in December 2017, ensuring future alignment with U.K. Sport best practice. Now we need to build on that and I am delighted to be leading the Board of this great Olympic sport.”
