QUALIFIER 2, which kicked off TODAY (MONDAY 22ND)

And we are here live at QUALIFIER 2, which kicked off TODAY (MONDAY 22ND) and will be taking place through until this FRIDAY 26TH JULY at ICESHEFFIELD, and already you can find online the results for the BASIC NOVICE MEN FS, which was won by DEESIDE’s RENE BEKTASHI-BROWN with a super and thoroughly enjoyable skate, the INTERMEDIATE NOVICE MEN FS, which was won by NOTTINGHAM NATIONAL ICE CENTRE’s LUKE WOODTHORPE-SMITH, who then had to get straight back on the ice with a different program for the ADVANCED NOVICE MEN SP, and this was won by OXFORD/COVENTRY skater JACOB CASEY, who landed a cracking triple toe in his program only to then completely miss his double axel at the end 😕 ! Oh JACOB!!!!!

The BASIC NOVICE LADIES competition is now underway, with 14 of the 46 skaters in this competition having now already strutted their stuff.....

One of UK News On Ice’s one’s to watch, MILTON KEYNES’s TARREN MAYER, is unofficially currently lying 1st with a score of 33.86, EAST KILBRIDE’s SARAH TUNNICLIFFE is unofficially currently lying in 2nd place, with BASINGSTOKE/GUILDFORD’s AVA MAE WILSON unofficially currently lying on 3rd place.

Much may change this afternoon however.....
